　エジプトへの乗り継ぎの関係で何度かミラノに行った。だいたい早朝にミラノについて、午後の飛行機に乗るのだから、乗り継ぎ時間が６時間あま りある。もっともエジプトから深夜に飛行機に乗り、早朝にミラノに着くと、普通の人は疲れて休みたくなるものだが、ぼくの場合はひたすら飛行機では爆睡し てストップオーバーに備え、到着とともに早朝の町に繰り出すのだ。荷物は空港の荷物預かりに預けておく。
　ミラノといえばレオナルド・ダビンチの最後の晩餐が有名だ。これは教会の壁画だから、現地に行かないと見られない。ところがミラノのストップ・オーバー が２度あったが、一度目は最後の晩餐の鑑賞予約をしていたのに飛行機が遅延で、時間に間に合わず。２度目は予約をいれずに行ってみることにしたが、すると 予約で一杯、見られませんといわれた。なんだか縁がないようだ。
　今回はミラノの町をぶらぶらと歩いてみることにした。空港からマルペンサ特急で市内にでた。サンタゴスチアーノの青空市が面白そうなので、地下鉄に乗り つ いで行ってみた。衣料や日用品、食料などなんでもそろいそうな青空市だ。火曜日と土曜日に開催している。次に、カドルナ駅のすぐ近くにあるスフォルツェス コ城へ。ここは１５世紀の古い居城だ。次にドゥオモに向かうが、それは次回に続く。

.    For the stopover to and from Egypt to Tokyo, I had a few chances to visit Milan.  The stopover gives about 6 hours of free time, as the arrival in Milan is in the early morning and the departing is early afternoon.
    Milan is famous for "Last Supper" by Da Vinci, and I tried to see this painting a few times.  The first time did not come through due to the delay of flight, although I had made reservation to see the painting, even.  The second time I did not make a reservation and just went there, but I was told that the painting was fully booked.  I was not destined to see this paintings, I thought.
    So I set out to the city and walked around in the city.  First, I west to an open air market in　Santagostino.  This is reachable by Metro.  There were things to wear, things to use, and things to eat and drink, too.  The market is open on Tuesdays and Saturdays. Then I went to the Sforzesco Castle, which dates back to 15th century.  The last destination is Duomo, but this will in the next installment.
